Madonna
M. Saville,
age 79, of Blue Rapids, passed away Saturday, January
30, 2010 at the Select Specialty Hospital, in Topeka.
She
was born February 28, 1930 at the family farm near
Hanover, the daughter of Howard R. and Evelyn R. (Grieveldinger)
Saville. She
graduated from Blue Rapids High School in 1948.
She was a member of St. Monica’s and St.
Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Blue Rapids and a
homemaker.
Madonna is survived by her sister, Hedy Saville of Blue Rapids.
A
Mass of Christian Burial is planned for 10 am,
Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the St. Monica’s and
St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church fellowship hall in
Blue Rapids with Father Jim Shaughnessy celebrating the
Mass. Music
to be provided by Moogie Roeder on Keyboard and vocals
by Rheta Matson. Selections
include “On Eagles Wings”, “Be Not Afraid” and
“Bread of Life”.
Casket Bearers are Roger Terry, Markus Frese, Dan
Howell, Paul Hossler, Johnny Horton and Ivan Wienck.
Burial was at Fairmont Cemetery in Blue Rapids.
A Rosary was said at 7 PM, Tuesday evening at the
church fellowship hall.
