Laura
E. Bragunier,
age 77, of Waterville passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010
at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Funeral
services are planned for 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 25, 2010
at Terry-Christie Funeral Home in Waterville with
Reverend Bob Whitaker officiating.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in
Waterville.
Laura
was born March 31, 1933 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Paul J.
and Marie O. (Stevens) Conroy.
She married Charles S. Bragunier on December 28,
1963 at Las Vegas, Nevada.
She had worked as Senior Buyer for the City of
Carson in California.
She
was a member of the Waterville United Methodist Church,
the Springer Post 332 of the American Legion Auxiliary
in Waterville and was a charter member of the Carson’s
Women’s Club in California.
Survivors
include her husband Chuck, a son; Albert Garber of
Morgantown, Kentucky, two daughters; Katharyn M. Horney
and husband Ed of Spokane, Washington and Millie A.
Laughlin and husband Tim of Waterville, five
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Laura
was preceded in death by a son Charles E. Bragunier, two
brothers: Walter Conroy and Jerry Conroy and a sister
Bert Davis.
Memorials
are suggested to the Valley Heights Scholarship Fund and
may be sent in care of the Funeral Home.
